5 Real Ways to Reboot Your Fitness

23:16

If you made a health or fitness resolution for 2014 and have already found it falling by the wayside well lots of us have found the same.

Change for yourself:
there's a reason you resolved it. If it's sincere and you really do want to change something about your life, don't let negativity creep in, because it could only serve to derail your progress.
Be creative:
you'll make up for your exercise session tomorrow or the next day. But you can also knock out some of your working out while you're in the midst of your errands: walk to the grocery store, ride your bike to work one day, run around with your kids, do squats while brushing your teeth.
Anticipate roadblocks. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate with your workout plans, or your meeting runs extra late. That's why it's always good to have a backup plan in place. But! If you do miss a day because of sickness or weather, don't let it discourage you from your goals. It's about heading for a long-term healthy lifestyle, not just dealing with a quick fix.
Get a health coach. Health coaches are part personal trainers, part nutritionists, and part cheerleaders. They can help keep you motivated and inspired when you run into questions, concerns, or even just general irritations that might be keeping you from accomplishing what you want to. So they can go a long way in helping change habits.
Take baby steps. If your goal was super huge  or vague you may get frustrated by the lack of results-right-now. Instead of throwing the whole resolution out the window, think about the things you're doing now--maybe you can't see them yet, but they may still be there.(Souce)
